Alumni
The University Library issues alumni guest cards to graduates of the University of Providence (University of Great Falls/College of Great Falls). The guest cards permit the Alumni to check out 2 items at a time.
Guests
Community Guests must be Cascade County residents (including MAFB), over the age of 18 and not still in high school. Guests may check out 2 items at a time for 3 weeks. Videos may be checked out for 3 days.
The University of Providence Library also provides Guest Cards to the following groups:
UP faculty, staff and students have priority. When notified that materials are needed by UP patrons, the guest must return the materials within 48 hours. There will be a 50¢ per item, per day fine (to a maximum of $10 per item) when requested materials are returned late.
Alumni and Guests are welcome to use the library's computers and other facilities. Most of the Library's electronic resources can be accessed using the library's computers in the library. Alumni/Guests show a picture ID and sign in to use the computers. Computers are not available after 5pm.
Electronic resources are not available to guests/alumni outside of the library.
The spring semester is being offered through face-to-face, hybrid, and online instruction, with adaptations and mitigation protocols to reduce risk to COVID-19 exposure. The University continues to support and enforce the use of masks while inside a University facility, and continues to support physical distancing of at least 6 feet. The Library is not open to the public.
